What is BenefitCheck?
BenefitCheck is an optional enhanced service provided by BMI that allows members
online access to personal insurance information. If you cannot access BenefitCheck
contact your employer.
What is my deductible?
Deductibles differ from plan to plan. If you have BenefitCheck you can view your
current deductible level. If you don't have access to BenefitCheck please refer
to your plan document or contact BMI.
Have I met my deductible?
If you have BenefitCheck you can view your current year-to-date deductible met. If
you don't have access to BenefitCheck refer to your most recent Explanation of
Benefit or contact BMI.
What is my co-pay?
If you have BenefitCheck you can view your schedule of benefits to see what co-pays
are included on your plan. If you don't have access to BenefitCheck co-pays are
found on your member ID card. These are fixed dollar amounts usually paid at the
time services are received.
Is my provider "In-network"?
Locate the name of the network printed on your member identification card. Click
on the "Provider Directory" button on the left-hand navigation bar. From there you
will be linked to the online directory for your preferred provider network.
Where can I find my BMI Group number?
Your BMI group number is listed on the front of your member identification card.
It is a three-digit number proceeded by the letters "BMI" and may include a
trailing alphabet letter. Some group numbers may include an alphabet letter.
